Kia ora. I am part of the teaching team at Rutherford Street Kindergarten. I began my training in 1988 and in 1994 completed my Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
I have spent most of my teaching career working in early childhood centres that promote working in partnership with parents/whānau. I have been a teacher at Rutherford Street Kindergarten since 2004 and enjoy being part of a teaching team that is passionate about children and their education. Over the past year I have undertaken professional development in the areas of mentoring and special needs; also ICT.
My family and I have been living in sunny Nelson since 2000 and have a love of the outdoors..
