Rutherford Street Kindergarten Rules
These rules promote safe, equitable learning and development for children while fostering independence.

Anyone can play anywhere: all children have equal right to use any equipment and space at the kindergarten.
We take turns: no child can monopolise areas of play or learning equipment. If I want a turn I ask “Can I be next?” The other child can choose to let me have a turn in 1, 2 or 3 minutes.
We look after ourselves the children and the environment. We take responsibility for our belongings. We play like friends use quiet voices and walk indoors. We use equipment appropriately.
